In early 2019, Dos Santos was awarded the premiere residential property by the Readers' Choice poll taken by the Albuquerque Journal North newspaper.  The "apartments / condominium" category had these remarks posted about our residential property and its community:

The City of Santa Fe's full name is La Villa Real de la Santa Fé de San Francisco de Asís (the Royal Town of the Holy Faith of Saint Francis of Assisi).   Our City is the end point of the Santa Fe Trail, which travels 800 miles from western Missouri.   We are also the third-largest art market in the United States.  For sports enthusiasts, Ski Santa Fe averages 225 inches of snow pack a year!  At 7,000 feet above sea level, we are the highest United States capital city and our altitude provides us with phenomenal sunsets.

Dos Santos Needs Your Online Vote Today for an Important Declaration Amendment Vote!

Dear Members,

The Dos Santos Homeowners Association has been in existence and operating under the current Declaration and Bylaws as created by the Declarant (Developer) more than 14 years ago. Your elected Board of Directors strongly believes that it is time to update the governing documents to remove mentions of the Declarant, and to address the errors and inconsistencies (both incidental and substantive), as well as align these documents with current New Mexico Laws. The table of substantive proposed changes is available below which provides the Board’s reasoning, as guided by our legal counsel for recommending these specific changes. Also below are Charts to explain where the changes are to take place in the old Governing Documents versus the Amended Documents and the full amended and restated documents.

The next Regular board meeting will be held on October 19, 2019, at 10:30 am in the Dos Santos Clubhouse at 2210 Miguel Chavez Road, Santa Fe, NM, 87505. The agenda will include another Q&A session for our members to openly discuss the proposed revisions on the existing governing documents. The teleconference call line will also be open for all members. Attendees should bring their document packet.

The Association has contracted with The Inspector of Elections (TIE) to distribute the paper copies of the table of changes to the Declarations and Bylaws by postal mail to every member of the Association. The document packet also includes this cover letter in addition to a paper ballot. Members may vote by paper ballot or online at the TIE website as we have done in previous elections for the Board of Directors. TIE will compile the votes and present the certified results to the Association for an announcement at the Special board meeting that has been extended to November 16th, 2019 at 10:30 am in the Clubhouse. Paper ballots will be accepted at the start of the meeting.
